With Harry Clarke, she is recognised as a leading Irish artist in this field with an international reputation. Evie joined An Túr Gloine co-operative in 1934 and stayed there until its dissolution in 1944 after the death of Sarah Purser. Evie then set up her own studio in Marlay House in Rathfarnham, Co.
